Cushman & Wakefield, the world's largest privately‐held commercial real estate services firm, is pleased to announce the arrival of Claire Marteau who will join the French Retail department on June 17th, as Associate, Head of Landlord Representation, comprising a team of seven professionals.

As part of her responsibilities, Claire Marteau will carry out lettings and lease renewals and provide dedicated consulting services to landlords, developers and investors looking for innovative concepts and brands for their high street, retail park and/or shopping centre stores, in collaboration with the national and international teams at Cushman & Wakefield.
With a masters in both Business Law and Real Estate Law (Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne), Claire Marteau, 37 years old, began her career in 2001 at Ségecé as Asset Manager, where she was responsible for a portfolio of European shopping centres.
She then joined AXA Real Estate in 2006 as Senior Asset Manager where she was in charge of a portfolio of mixed assets on behalf of pan-European funds worth 500 million €, followed by a portfolio of shopping centres for a value of 2.5 billion €.

"This recruitment is in line with one of the initiatives of the retail department’s development plan. The retail department is comprised of a team of 15 professionals managed by Pierre Raynal and structured around two business lines : Landlord Representation and Tenant Representation. Thanks to our knowledge of the major French cities and our international expertise, we are able to respond to the requirements of our clients in three core businesses: retail parks, shopping centres and high streets. This new organization enables us to provide dedicated services not only to institutional and private investors on the letting and optimisation of their property holdings, but also to national and international brands on their development and openings", said Christian Dubois, Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield France.
