The Dutch brand Rituals, specialized in home and body cosmetics, has instructed Cushman & Wakefield to act as exclusive lettings agent for their expansion in France.

With a network of over 870 stores worldwide, including 220 in the Netherlands, Rituals has an ambitious expansion strategy for France and will open stores on high street locations as well as in shopping centres with an average size of between 60 and 100 sqm.

The brand aims to open a hundred shops in France over the next 10 years, and plans to open its first 4 stores in 2015 in two iconic Parisian shopping centres and in two high street locations in the heart of Paris (Le Marais and Saint Germain des Près). Also, two " shops- in-shops" are expected to be opened in the department stores of the capital.

Founded in 2000 by Raymond Cloosterman, Rituals has imposed its unique concept "RITUALS ... to feel at home anywhere in the world" with a luxurious collection of products for the home and high quality cosmetics: body and facial care, scented candles, clothing, fragrances, germstone makeup and tea.

The brand philosophy is based on the concept that happiness is made of small things. With a diverse range of luxury products inspired by Eastern traditions, Rituals transforms everyday routines into moments of indulgence. In addition to its 300 outlets, the retailer benefits from a wide distribution network, ensuring its presence in more than 800 hotels, 500 corner stores in department stores, 32 shops in airports, 21 online shops, 14 airlines companies for distribution on board and 5 City Spas.
