Cushman & Wakefield has accompanied “The New School” university and its faculty “Parsons The New School for Design” in its search for premises and in the subsequent fit-out of the selected 1 500 sq.m space at 45 rue Saint Roch in Paris, which can accommodate 300 students.

To provide its students with modern and dynamic work spaces, The New School appointed the Project Management team of Cushman & Wakefield to deal with the technical and architectural aspects of the interior design and fit-out (workspace design, interior architecture, works) and the task of obtaining the specific authorizations to open a public establishment.

This project was conducted in collaboration with the teams based in the New York headquarters of the university and within a record time of just three months. It should be noted that the classrooms needed to be fitted out with specific equipment and facilities and precise specifications had to be followed.

Parsons The New School for Design is a one of seven universities of The New School. Located in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Lower Manhattan in New York City, this prestigious art and design college welcomes around 3 500 students. Many artists, fashion designers and world famous designers such as Edward Hooper, Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford have been trained in this school. Parsons Paris offers international students an artistic program in English.
