The real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield has just signed a lease contract with Total E&P in Brazil.

The French oil production and exploration company was the last year’s auction winner of Campo de Libra, one of the largest oil reserves in Brazil, and will occupy more than 1,000 sq meters of the Rio Metropolitan Building, in Rio de Janeiro downtown.

The property belongs to Previ - Fund of Employees of Banco do Brasil, the largest pension fund in Latin America. "Brazil has been one of the most attractive destinations for French companies, especially in the oil and gas industry," says Thierry Botto, General Manager of Agency Leasing at Cushman & Wakefield.
